Henry the Hound was feeling rather blue,
He felt rather shaky and was sure he had the flu.
AHH... CHOO, AHH... CHOO, he sneezed and shook his head.
I really do feel poorly and think I should go to bed!

Back into his kennel he went and settled down for a sleep.
I’ll just have 40 winks, he thought, and rested his head on his feet.
Just as he had dropped off and was dreaming of chasing cats,
His friend Danny knocked on his door, which soon put paid to that.

Henry, he shouted, do you want to come out and play ball?
Sorry, little friend, I would love to but I don’t feel well at all
Oh dear, said Danny, as he could see Henry was about to Sneeze.
Quick, trap your germs in this handkerchief, and he whipped it out with speed.

Henry did as he was told and blew his nose with a resounding parp!
I’ve never heard anyone make such a noise! said Danny with a laugh.
Come on, he said, get out of the cold and off to bed you go.
Snuggle up and go back to sleep – you’ll be as right as rain tomorrow!
